Do you pray for your friends? How about those who aren’t your friends. David and Jonathan were close friends and went through hard times together. I believe they prayed for each other often. Men and women need encouragement which can often come through prayer. Let’s hold each other up in prayer. Pray that you and your friends will grow in the Lord, be holy and blameless, and established in the faith (Col. 1:9-14).

Jesus is all He says that He is (Psalm 46:10). He answers prayer according to God’s will. Keep your eyes on Jesus all the time. Be a “prayer warrior”.

National Day of Prayer

  • Do you work in a Business?
  • Do you care about the effectiveness of the Church?
  • Are there challenges faced by people in your Family?
  • Do you have opinions about what’s going on in our Government?
  • Do you know someone serving in the Military?
  • Have you wondered how you can have an influence on the Media?
  • Are you concerned about safety in our Schools?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are ready to volunteer at this year’s National Day of Prayer Breakfast. This breakfast takes place the first Thursday of May every year.  Volunteer opportunities include: set-up, table hosts, ushers, greeters, registration table, serving the breakfast, youth pray-ers (ages 10-20), and clean-up. Don’t miss this opportunity to impact OUR community for, Christ!
